Hi Celenia,
Merry Christmas to you too, and a word of thanks for your wisdom and insight in your blog. I really appreciate your blog posts, and just wanted to let you know. A friend’s grandson died this past March, possibly/probably by suicide, and your words and wisdom have been invaluable in helping me support her. There is so much I have no words for, but you’re helping me just be there with her, and not run away, mostly from my own fear. And I wanted you to know….
I also so appreciate your Facebook posts.
I hope you have had some moments and times of joy and peace and light in this season of the coming light.

Chris, this is LONG overdue, but I wanted to thank you for your comments. I’m humbled to hear that my words have helped you, and perhaps others in your circle. The holidays were particularly rough for me this year; my sister died on January 8 after a cruel illness (ALS), so I wasn’t paying too much attention to my website other than to write about the experience of witnessing her final weeks. I just – today – saw your comments and didn’t want them to go unacknowledged. Again, thank you.
